Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist to ensure compliance with EHS policies, programs, and procedures across sites. You will develop and contribute to EHS programs, perform audits, and provide recommendations to improve safety culture.

Responsibilities include managing compliance activities and delivering training to site personnel. The role requires travel up to 50% regionally, working outdoors in varied conditions, and a commitment to safety in a large energy infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience is required.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 50% with minimal notice.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and identify hazards to create a safe environment.
• Facilitate implementation of Invenergy standards at sites.
• Manage compliance activities and EHS programs.
• Initiate investigations for incidents or near misses and document findings.
• Conduct inspections and audits and ensure corrective actions are tracked.
