Job summary

Southern Power is seeking an Engineer/Analyst – Renewable Asset Management to oversee the financial, operational, and strategic performance of solar and wind assets across multiple facilities. The role includes tracking revenue and expenses, monitoring budgets, forecasts, and asset profitability, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

You will collaborate with O&M and engineering teams, support due diligence for acquisitions and development, and help ensure compliance and regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management (renewables preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Contract management experience and ability to manage multiple projects from planning through completion.

Responsibilities

• Track revenue, expenses, and asset profitability.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for assets.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue optimization.
• Oversee asset lifecycle, upgrades, repowering, or decommissioning planning.
• Coordinate with O&M teams to ensure high availability and performance.
• Prepare performance reports and KPIs for management and stakeholders.
