Qualifications

• Strong knowledge base of Z/OS performance and tuning is required.
• Capacity planning experience is essential.
• Ability to analyze CPU and I/O performance metrics.
• Experience with SMF records is required.
• Experience implementing WLM policy changes.
• SAS programming is a must.
• Familiarity with MXG reporting tools.
• Familiarity with RMF Monitor and OMEGAMON.
• Experience with diagnostic tools (Freeze Frame).
• Ability to multitask in a high-demand global environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Z/OS performance and tuning requirements.
• Conduct capacity planning and optimize workloads.
• Analyze CPU and I/O usage and make recommendations.
• Leverage SMF data to drive performance improvements.
• Adjust WLM policies to align with demand.
