Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to design, implement, and manage identity and access solutions that secure our global workforce and business applications. You will drive integration projects across mergers and acquisitions, consolidate IdPs into a single SSO platform, and automate user lifecycle processes.

The role emphasizes secure access controls, policy enforcement, and collaboration with Security, IT Operations, HR, and Application Development to ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions.
• Strong AD/Entra ID, LDAP, and Group Policy experience.
• Experience with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM workstreams for M&A and Divestitures.
• Consolidate disparate identity providers (IdPs) into a unified enterprise SSO platform.
• Design cross-domain authentication and federation strategies to migrate or merge user populations under tight timelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions including SSO, Identity Lifecycle Management (LCM), IAM Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Develop automated workflows and API-driven integrations to streamline onboarding, transitions, and offboarding (LCM).
• Manage hybrid environments consisting of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
