Responsibilities

• Investigate to collect facts from injured workers, employers and providers.
• Provide ongoing medical case management for assigned claims.
• Assess claims to determine referrals to medical/claims resources when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and status notes in EDM with proper documentation.
• Authorize payment of medical benefits and treatment.
• Identify potential subrogation cases and refer to Subrogation Units.
