Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Team Lead to supervise and mentor a high-performing claims group. This fully remote role involves ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to GB’s Best Practices across a Midwest-focused jurisdiction portfolio.

You will drive hiring and training of adjusters, manage workloads, and collaborate with clients, carriers, and brokers to deliver optimal outcomes while promoting professional development and performance culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Experience leading a Workers' Compensation claims team.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in claims management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a Workers' Compensation claims team to handle a variety of caseloads while delivering high-quality, efficient service.
• Guide claims teams to follow GB’s Best Practices.
• Drive talent by managing adjuster hiring and training and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and manage workloads for optimal efficiency.
• Harness Gallagher's technology to enhance team efficiency and overall service quality.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, proactive manner.
• Identify coaching opportunities and position team members for development.
