Gallagher Bassett seeks a seasoned Workers' Compensation Claims Leader to supervise a dynamic team and drive high-quality service outcomes in a fully remote capacity within California jurisdictions.

In this role you will oversee claim handling, implement best practices, hire/train adjusters, and coordinate with clients, carriers, and brokers to ensure efficient operations and ongoing professional development across the team.

Qualifications

• Claims background in workers' compensation.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• California jurisdictional experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 8 years related claims experience.
• Licensed/certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of all team member functions.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a Workers' Compensation claims team.
• Promote best practices and guide handling of claims.
• Drive talent through hiring and training of adjusters.
• Define team goals and manage workloads for efficiency.
• Utilize Gallagher's technology to improve team performance.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers professionally.
• Identify coaching opportunities and develop team members.
