Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead to supervise multiple teams of claims examiners for clients nationwide in a flexible, remote setting. You will adjudicate complex claims and provide leadership, mentoring, and client service across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; licenses as required; professional certifications as applicable to lines of business.
• Two years of claims experience or an equivalent education/experience combination.
• Supervisory experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers compensation claims.
• Monitors workloads, provides training, and offers jurisdictional direction on claim adjudication.
• Reviews management reports, ensures quality and compliance with audit requirements.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client claims issues and documents outcomes.
• Maintains client relationship and communicates claim status and recommendations.
