Sedgwick, a global leader in claims administration, is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead with NY jurisdiction experience and NY licensing to supervise examiners and deliver outstanding service.

You'll manage multiple teams, ensure accurate adjudication, and partner with clients while leveraging Sedgwick’s network and career development opportunities. This remote-friendly role emphasizes flexibility, growth, and a strong compliance mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years of claims experience, including two (2) years in a supervisor role.
• NY jurisdiction experience and NY licensing.
• Licenses and professional certifications as applicable to line of business.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners for workers' compensation.
• Monitors workloads, provides training, and directs complex claim activities.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims.
• Maintains client relationships and communicates findings to clients.
• Ensures staff licensing compliance across jurisdictions.
