Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex claims for our clients nationwide. This role offers remote work with flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow professionally within a leading global company.

You will analyze claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while ensuring timely, compliant resolutions. A strong litigation background and knowledge of multiple jurisdictions are essential.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Heavy Litigation - experience required.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: DE, IL, LA, MO, NJ, OK, TN, TX.
• Licensing: Home state plus DE, LA, OK, TX.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and resolve.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions.
