Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze Lost-Time claims for diverse clients in a remote capacity. You will adjudicate benefits, gather information, and craft timely resolutions within client service standards.

With at least 5 years in claims management, licensing as required, and a preferred bachelor’s degree, you will negotiate settlements, report activity to clients and carriers, and contribute to a growing, inclusive team at Sedgwick.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Licensing: Required. Heavy Litigation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To analyze Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority and communicate activity to claimant and client.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions in a professional and timely manner.
