Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a Workers Compensation Assistant Underwriter who is highly motivated and detail-oriented. This replacement role involves quoting new and renewal business for workers' compensation accounts across multiple binding markets and reporting to the VP of Workers Compensation.

This fully remote position is open to candidates residing in California or Arizona. Responsibilities include quoting, managing accounts from $1,000 to $100,000, collaborating with a team of underwriters,

Qualifications

• P&C license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of high-volume binding market experience in workers' compensation.
• Proficiency with relevant software tools; specifics discussed during interview.
• Must reside in California or Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Quote new and renewal workers' compensation business across binding markets.
• Manage accounts ranging in size from $1,000 to $100,000.
• Collaborate with a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing of policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with binding markets, leveraging access to over 25 markets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
