Job summary

Jonus Group client, a well-established Third-Party Administrator (TPA), seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor to join the team. This fully remote opportunity is for candidates residing in California and requires strong CA WC claims expertise, leadership experience, and an active SIP certification.

The supervisor will lead a team of California WC Claims Adjusters, ensure quality handling, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency across the claims

Qualifications

• Active SIP certification required.
• 5+ years of California Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience within Workers' Compensation claims required.
• Strong knowledge of California Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and litigation management.
• Experience working within a TPA environment preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a remote team environment.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of California Workers' Compensation Claims Adjusters.
• Monitor claim activity to ensure timely and accurate handling in accordance with California workers' compensation laws and company best practices.
• Conduct file reviews, audits, and provide technical guidance on complex claims.
• Assist with training, coaching, and performance management of claims staff.
• Ensure adherence to client service standards, internal metrics, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with management to improve workflows, claim outcomes, and operational efficiencies.
• Support escalated claim issues and provide resolution strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
