Jonus Group is seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Assistant Underwriter to join our team in a replacement position. The role quotes new and renewal business for workers' compensation accounts across binding markets, reporting to the VP of Workers Compensation.

This fully remote role is available to candidates residing in California or Arizona, with salary between $75,000 and $95,000 plus performance-based bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
Minimum 3 years of high-volume workers' compensation binding market experience.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (details to be discussed during the interview).
Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Quote new and renewal workers' compensation business across binding markets.
Manage accounts ranging in size from $1,000 to $100,000.
Collaborate with a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing of policies.
Maintain relationships with binding markets, accessing over 25 markets.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
