The Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster in the United States. The role requires 3+ years of workers’ compensation indemnity claims handling with jurisdictional expertise in Wisconsin and relevant licenses.

Proficiency in MS Office and Guidewire is preferred, with AIC or SLA certification a plus. Responsibilities include investigating claims, coordinating with stakeholders, negotiating settlements, and maintaining reserves.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years handling workers’ compensation indemnity claims with jurisdictional expertise (Wisconsin required).
• Licenses for covered jurisdictions must be current and active.
• AIC or SLA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze workers’ compensation claims to determine coverage and resolutions.
• Collaborate with agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders to manage claims effectively.
• Develop action plans to resolve claims, including evaluating damages and negotiating settlements.
• Establish and maintain accurate reserves reflecting financial exposure.
• Manage litigated claims in collaboration with legal counsel.
• Review and interpret applicable insurance policies to address coverage issues.
