Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage claims from initial report through resolution. This hybrid role offers a competitive base salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will independently evaluate exposures, develop claim strategies, and communicate effectively with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation claims practices.
• Experience with lost-time, litigated, or complex claims is valued.
• Ability to independently manage a claims caseload.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal skills.
• Jurisdictional Workers’ Compensation experience is a plus.
• Licensing and professional designations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workers’ Compensation claims from initial report through resolution.
• Investigate claims, evaluate compensability, and develop claim strategies.
• Review medical records, claim documentation, and other relevant information.
• Communicate with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Evaluate reserves, exposures, and settlement opportunities.
• Coordinate with defense counsel and other claims professionals as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely claim files and documentation.
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Provide responsive and professional service to internal and external stakeholders.
