Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders, LLC is seeking a Workday Scheduling & Time Tracking Consultant with nurse scheduling expertise for a 100% remote, 6+ month contract engagement. You will assess, configure, and optimize Workday scheduling for nursing needs while ensuring secure, end-to-end testing and a smooth go-live.

You will map requirements, implement auto-scheduling, and publish schedules, then train the internal team to sustain the solution after go-live.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Scheduling experience, including nurse/clinical scheduling in healthcare.
• Strong Workday Time Tracking and Time & Attendance configuration skills.
• Experience configuring auto-scheduling, schedule publishing, and shift swap functionality.
• Experience with Workday security configuration and review.
• Ability to evaluat e in-flight build and prioritize remaining work to go-live.
• Experience supporting end-to-end testing and go-live.
• Strong communication, training, and knowledge transfer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current Workday Time & Attendance and Scheduling build and remaining requirements.
• Map nurse scheduling requirements to Workday Scheduling functionality and determine feasibility.
• Complete nurse scheduling configuration, including publish, auto-scheduling, and shift swaps.
• Conduct security/configuration review and correct security setup to support testing.
• Support the team through end-to-end testing and go-live.
• Develop a realistic plan for Nurse Scheduling items after go-live.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and training so the internal team can own and sustain the solution.
