Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Workday Extend Developer on the Enterprise Applications team. You will design and build integrations and custom Extend solutions for the global workforce, partnering with People Experience and IT to deliver scalable, reliable Workday ecosystems.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Workday with 3+ years in Extend, plus 4+ years of integration development using Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.

Qualifications

• Proven success delivering end-to-end, medium to large-scale Workday integrations and Extend implementations.
• 7+ years of Workday experience (certification preferred), including 3+ years designing and building Workday Extend applications.
• 4+ years developing Workday integrations using Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transforms, and Workday Studio.
• Solid knowledge of Workday functional areas (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Absence Management) and security configurations.
• Proficiency in web service integrations (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) and XSLT; familiarity with Python or JavaScript is a plus.
• Comfort working within agile or iterative development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Workday Extend solutions that address business needs and elevate the employee experience.
• Lead integration efforts as the technical liaison, authoring detailed specifications, field mappings, and architectural designs to support global deployment lifecycles.
• Apply software engineering depth across Workday HCM, Expense, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, and Absence Management modules, focusing on integration quality.
• Define requirements, provide effort estimates, and build solutions leveraging the Workday Integration Tool Kit (Orchestrate, Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transforms, Workday Studio).
• Drive continuous improvement through analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and iterative refinement.
