Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Workday Extend Developer on the Enterprise Applications team to build integrations and custom applications across the Workday ecosystem. You will partner with People Experience and IT to ensure scalable, reliable solutions that support a global workforce.

This fully remote role is open to candidates in the United States, with preference for Pacific or Mountain time zones. You will work across HCM modules, driving architecture, integration quality, and delivery discipline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday experience with certification preferred.
• 3+ years designing and building Workday Extend applications (Extend certification preferred).
• 4+ years developing Workday integrations using Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transforms, and Workday Studio.
• Solid knowledge of Workday functional areas (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Absence Management).
• Proficiency in web service integrations (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) and XSLT; Python/JavaScript a plus.
• Comfort with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Workday Extend solutions that address business needs and elevate the employee experience.
• Lead integration efforts as the technical liaison, authoring detailed specifications, field mappings, and architectural designs to support global deployment lifecycles.
• Apply software engineering depth across Workday HCM, Expense, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, and Absence Management modules, focusing on integration quality and reliability.
• Define requirements, provide effort estimates, and build solutions leveraging the full Workday Integration Toolkit (Orchestrate, Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transforms, Workday Studio).
• Drive continuous improvement through rigorous analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and iterative refinement.
