Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. seeks a Workday Reporting and Data Analytics Architect to lead cross-module Workday solutions across HCM, Payroll, and Finance.

This senior individual-contributor role sets architecture and reporting standards and mentors analysts to ensure high-quality, governed data delivery. The role focuses on designing secure reporting, data sources, and enterprise analytics, partnering with BI and IS leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Workday experience with hands-on reporting.
• 5+ years in a Workday architect, lead configuration, or technical design role.
• Experience mentoring or leading the technical work of others.
• Preferred Workday Pro certification in Reporting/Prism plus Core HCM/Payroll/Financials/Integrations/Extend.

Responsibilities

• Serve as design authority for complex, cross-module Workday solutions.
• Define and maintain the target-state Workday architecture across HCM, Payroll, and Finance.
• Lead architecture for high-risk, high-visibility initiatives including new module deployments.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and naming conventions for Workday configuration, integrations, and reporting.
• Determine security models for complex reporting.
• Own architecture of Workday reporting and data sources, including dashboards and Prism Analytics data sources.
• Partner with Enterprise BI Architecture to design governed data extracts from Workday.
• Ensure reporting security aligns with Workday domain security and RBAC.
