Job summary

Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a reporting analyst focused on Workday Financial Management and HCM reporting. The role partners with departmental users and leadership to translate business needs into accurate, secure reports using Workday and BI tools.

The position is 100% remote, with work performed within MCW’s registered payroll states, including WI and others. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in reporting/analysis roles.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management and Workday HCM reporting preferred.
• Experience validating results across Workday and BI platforms.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear reporting specifications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with users and leadership to gather reporting requirements.
• Translate requirements into definitions, calculations, prompts, and access controls.
• Evaluate requests against existing Workday reports and BI tools to maximize reuse.
• Coordinate validation and reconciliation of reports with business owners.
• Develop test plans, coordinate UAT, and obtain sign-off before production deployment.
• Maintain documentation standards and reporting catalog.
