Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Workday Product Architect to lead design, development, and deployment of comprehensive Workday Finance solutions, ensuring scalable, compliant architecture aligned with business objectives.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, IS and stakeholders to implement best-in-class Workday strategies, drive integrations, and mentor teams, with 100% remote work within MCW payroll states.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience with Workday platforms.
• Experience in at least two modules: HCM, Payroll, or Finance.
• 3+ years in Workday architectural, lead configuration, or technical design roles.
• Preferred: Workday Financials Certification and Workday Reporting.
• Knowledge of Workday grants and Adaptive is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable and secure Finance system architecture aligned with goals, needs, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IS, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Develop integration strategies between Workday and other enterprise systems.
• Optimize processes by leveraging Workday Finance functionalities and automation capabilities.
• Oversee complex configuration and system changes with best practices.
• Lead troubleshooting of high-complexity system issues escalated by support or operations teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Finance system architecture, integration designs, and process flows.
• Mentor and support teams involved in Workday HR/Payroll/Finance implementations.
• Stay current with Workday updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to suggest improvements.
• Ensure alignment across modules and touchpoints within Workday and other systems.
