Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an Installation Lead for Wind Turbine Projects to oversee on-site installation, manage subcontractors and vendors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion across remote project sites.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive schedules, and maintain documentation while coordinating with construction managers, quality teams, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in wind turbine installation and construction.
• Proven ability to lead on-site construction teams and subcontractors.
• At least five years in a supervisory or equivalent leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve site issues with minimal disruption.
• Clear, effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Supervisory experience in a field leadership position.
• Willingness to travel to remote project sites and work in isolated conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installation operations across wind turbine components and systems.
• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, and site laborers; manage performance and schedules.
• Enforce EHS protocols and conduct risk assessments to maintain safety standards.
• Monitor milestones and adapt schedules for weather or delays; communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Perform on-site quality inspections and maintain accurate documentation (logs, reports, DDCR).
• Mentor on-site staff, provide training, and foster teamwork and accountability.
