Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Turbine Technical Bid Leader to own the technical analysis of RFQs, tenders, and proposals in the United States. You will coordinate a matrix of application engineering, EHS, product engineering, and other technical disciplines to craft winning bids.

You’ll support sales in closing orders, lead risk reviews, and mentor less experienced colleagues while building deep relationships with customer technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in power or wind projects, including tender preparation and/or project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead wind turbine technical bid development and negotiation with the sales team.
• Own the technical analysis of inquiries, RFQs, or tenders to determine requirements and scope of supply.
• Mentor team members and lead cross-disciplinary technical teams in proposal development.
• Support customers with technical expertise, negotiation support, and timely responses.
• Participate in risk reviews and cycle time reduction for proposals.
• Develop and maintain deep relationships with customers' technical teams to facilitate collaboration.
