Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Advanced Workflow Specialist-Widefield to provide technical pre- and post-sales support for advanced microscopy products. The role is field-based, REMOTELY, covering the Central US and involves product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting with Life Science Research customers and Account Managers.

The position requires a Bachelors in life sciences or optics and 2+ years in microscopy/imaging, with teaching experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or optics
2+ years in a research environment applying microscopy and digital imaging or imaging analysis
Teaching or training experience in imaging equipment use
Familiarity with biological imaging applications; fluorescence, microscopy and optics experience valued
Masters or PhD preferred
2+ years in a customer-facing support role

Responsibilities

Drive high-quality demonstrations of widefield systems to advance opportunities and increase orders
Partner with Account Managers and DBS team with regular communication and pipeline alignment
Provide expert application, product, software, and technical support throughout the customer journey
Develop imaging protocols and demonstrations tailored to customer applications
Generate customer insights and best practices while applying DBS to improve processes and differentiation
