Hurtigruten seeks a motivated Business Development Manager - West to drive sales in the Western United States across a remote setup. You will manage partnerships, develop strategic plans, and expand business with travel trade accounts, training partners, and consumers.

The role requires at least 5 years in sales, strong account management, and travel readiness. This position offers a remote work arrangement with travel across territory and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Strong account management and business development experience.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory as required.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop a designated territory across the Western US.
• Maximize sales opportunities through existing partners and cultivate new business.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve targets.
• Build, manage, and grow relationships with key travel trade partners and accounts.
• Deliver training sessions, webinars, and product updates to travel advisors and consumers.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and consumer presentations.
• Maintain pipeline management, forecasting in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Customer Service, Marketing, and Group Sales teams.
• Manage travel expenses and marketing investments for ROI.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
