Systematic Business Consulting is seeking an experienced West Coast Territory Sales Manager to drive growth in the machine-tool sector. This remote, home-based role requires current residency in Orange County, CA and 50% travel across the West Coast.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of direct machine-tool sales experience, a proven track record of hitting targets, and the ability to manage accounts, prospect new business, and lead consultative sales engagements from discovery through closing.

Qualifications

• Mandatory machine-tool sales experience: three to five years in CNC machine tools or related technology.
• Orange County residency is required; relocation not offered.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and close deals.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand machine-tool solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the West Coast territory, balancing existing accounts with new business.
• Build and expand customer relationships across key accounts.
• Prospect, generate leads, and respond to inquiries to create opportunities.
• Visit customer facilities to assess technical needs and propose suitable machine-tool solutions.
• Manage the sales process from needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
• Develop annual territory plans and sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and track opportunities and activity.
• Stay current on machine-tool technology and industry developments.
• Provide professional representation with integrity and results orientation.
