Network for Hope seeks a part-time Donation Support Services (DSS) Referral Coordinator to provide dedicated weekend coverage. This entry point role focuses on referral intake and case management within a remote setting.

You will handle donor referrals, gather clinical information, and coordinate with hospital staff to move cases through the donation process while maintaining secure documentation and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology and medical records.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare call center, EMS, nursing, medical assisting, social work, dispatch, or related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage incoming donor referrals during your shift.
• Gather and document medical, clinical, and referral information.
• Monitor active referrals and ensure proper case progression across shifts.
• Communicate with hospital and facility staff for updates and information.
• Perform preliminary donor screening and evaluation per procedures.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in electronic systems.
• Escalate cases requiring additional evaluation or review.
