Saving Sight is seeking a Donor Services Coordinator - Overnights to coordinate donor referrals and support partner agencies. The role involves communicating with donor families, reviewing medical records, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation in a time-sensitive healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Preferred: 1 year in call center or customer service.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document death referrals from partner agencies.
• Provide guidance to referral sources on eye donation process.
• Screen potential donors for medical suitability per SOPs and regulations.
• Coordinate logistics with internal and external stakeholders.
• Record donor data accurately in systems with HIPAA compliance.
• Engage with donor families to communicate opportunities and obtain authorization.
• Review medical records to assess donor suitability.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, EBAA standards, FDA regulations, and state laws.
• Transcribe and document information thoroughly in eye bank systems.
• Assist with daily tasks and support special projects.
