Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a versatile Web Designer & Technical Writer who blends strong visual design with clear technical documentation. This fully remote role supports DOJ ATR by creating accessible web pages, writing user guides, and ensuring content accuracy for agency websites and digital assets.

The ideal candidate will design, test, and refine pages, collaborate with attorneys, economists, and IT staff, and uphold plain writing standards while complying with Section 508 accessibility

Qualifications

• Experience with Section 508 accessibility compliance.
• Familiarity with web analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics or similar).
• Experience designing for government, enterprise, or regulated environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to explain design and content decisions clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, re-design, code, test, implement, and maintain new web pages and sections of agency Internet and intranet websites.
• Create prototypes of new web pages and site areas (graphics, navigation, layout).
• Collaborate with content providers and web team members on goals, audiences, schedules, and deliverables.
• Establish layout, design, formatting and style guidelines for websites.
• Review and track web metrics and analytics.
• Research and report on new developments in web design and services.
• Communicate ideas and recommendations to senior management clearly.
• Train end users and web staff on agency web services.
• Ensure pages comply with Section 508 and accessibility and usability standards.
