Job summary

CorVel is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a team of claims professionals in a remote, nationwide role. The position focuses on ensuring quality, productivity, and excellent customer service while adhering to company policies.

The supervisor will support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and effective staff development. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation required.
• Current license or certification in Workers' Compensation claims.
• State certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing and onboarding new staff.
• Ensures staff compliance with Workers' Compensation laws and reporting requirements.
• Provides training, coaching and performance evaluations; recommends merit actions.
• Provides guidance on complex compensability, investigations and litigation issues.
