Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a team of claims professionals. The role focuses on ensuring quality, productivity and customer service while adhering to company policies. This is a remote work arrangement with nationwide responsibilities.

Key duties include recruitment support, staff development, regulatory compliance, and guidance on complex claims. Travel may be required to meet client needs and team objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ claims handling experience.
• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims, State Certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding.
• Ensures compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and regulatory reporting.
• Provides training, coaching and regular performance evaluations.
• Offers guidance on complex compensability, investigation and litigation issues.
• Acts as liaison for final resolutions with clients and employees.
• Participates in customer claim reviews and presentations.
• Overnight travel may be required.
