Hach, a Veralto company, seeks a Field Service Technician I to deliver high-quality customer service, perform preventative maintenance, and calibrate devices at customer sites across municipal and industrial settings. The role includes daily travel and eventual 4-ten-hour shifts per week based on workload.

The position requires a diploma or degree and mechanical aptitude, with 2+ years in field service or customer-facing roles. A company car, phone, and full benefits are provided from day one.

Competenze

• HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
• 2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
• Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site contact for technical and service-related problems.
• Work in municipal and industrial settings including drinking water and wastewater facilities, refineries, chemical plants, and food/beverage sites.
• Submit prompt, accurate service reports affecting billing, inventory, instrument history and failures.
• Follow safe work practices according to company policy.
• Execute administrative activities in support of service visits.
• Daily travel to customer sites; this role will be based in Houston, TX, with company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals for overnight stays.
