Hach, a Veralto company, is hiring a Field Service Technician I based in Houston, TX, with travel to customer sites across the territory. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration of instrumentation at municipal and industrial facilities, ensuring high-quality on-site customer service.

The role requires 2+ years of field service or similar experience, an HS Diploma (Associates preferred), and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
• 2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
• This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
• Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
• Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc.
• Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
• Follows safe work practices according to company policy.
• Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
• Daily travel to customer sites. This role will be based in Houston, TX, area and support our customers throughout the territory.
