Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Water Treatment Chemical Service Technician for the San Luis Obispo, California area. You will support existing customers, perform water testing, and help promote proprietary chemical blends and monitoring technology.

The role offers an industry-competitive salary, a $675 per month car allowance, comprehensive benefits, and clear career paths from technical service to Territory Manager, with opportunities for unlimited commission and a year-end bonus.

Qualificações

• You will hold a technical degree such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources.
• Nice to have backgrounds include lab experience, field service, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, HVAC, electric.
• One-year technical sales or internship related to water treatment chemicals is preferred, but we are willing to train and mentor.
• You must live in San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Lompoc, Santa Maria, Paso Robles, or very nearby, and be familiar with the area's industrial marketplace.

Responsabilidades

• Solve customers' water problems.
• Treat industrial boilers and cooling towers to keep energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
• Perform detailed water testing & analyses at Industrial sites, Manufacturers, Data Centers, Medical Centers, and Commercial Buildings.
• Help sell Garratt-Callahan's proprietary chemical blends, equipment, & monitoring technology.
• Passivation of stainless steel in industrial water treatment systems.
• Help sell corrosion & scale inhibitors, coagulants, flocculants, biocides, bio-augmentation, feed & monitoring equipment, water management plans, reverse osmosis products.
• Help sell Water Safety Programs.
• Keep our existing customers happy.
• Some overnight travel

Technical degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biology / Mechanical Engineering / Paper Science / Water Resources
