Job summary

Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance on product selection, system design and application optimization for high-purity water solutions. You will bridge customer needs with Grundfos technology, ensuring energy-efficient, reliable results across projects.

You will work closely with Sales and Project Management, conducting technical reviews and delivering turnover packages to downstream teams. A PE license is a plus, with remote-friendly flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years in applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design.
• Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment, system hydraulics and sanitary design.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and commercial scope for high-purity water solutions.
• Develop conceptual designs and perform preliminary engineering calculations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered options.
• Evaluate equipment options based on technical suitability, lead time, and pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy.
