Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert technical guidance on product selection, system design, and application optimization for high-purity water solutions. You will bridge customer requirements with Grundfos technology, collaborating with Sales and Project teams to deliver reliable, energy-efficient systems.

The role emphasizes technical design, cost optimization, and strong customer communication within a flexible, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minumim of 5+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design.
• Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment processes, system hydraulics, sanitary design principles, and high-purity water-quality requirements.
• Proficiency with engineering selection and sizing tools and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Bridge the gap between customer requirements and Grundfos technology to deliver reliable, energy-efficient water solutions.
• Create conceptual system designs and perform preliminary engineering calculations for equipment sizing and estimation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered alternatives to optimize system performance and cost.
• Evaluate equipment options based on technical suitability, availability, lead time, and pricing.
• Partner with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy and support customer meetings.
• Lead technical review and turnover meetings to confirm project scope with downstream teams.
