Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years in applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design.
• Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment processes, system hydraulics, sanitary design principles, and high-purity water-quality requirements.
• Proficiency reading technical drawings and using sizing tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries, specs, and requirements to define technical and commercial scope for high-purity water solutions.
• Develop conceptual system designs and perform preliminary engineering calculations for sizing and estimating.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered alternatives to optimize performance and cost.
• Research equipment options based on technical suitability, availability, lead time and pricing.
• Explore innovative approaches to customer challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Partner with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy for Grundfos proposals.
• Participate in customer meetings to provide technical support alongside Sales.
• Prepare and deliver technical/commercial turnover packages to Project Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Lead technical review and turnover meetings to confirm supply scope.
