Job summary

Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to deliver expert guidance on product selection, system design, and application optimization for high-purity water projects. You will bridge customer requirements with Grundfos technology, ensuring reliable, energy-efficient solutions and strong collaboration with Sales and Project teams.

The role emphasizes engineering precision, reading drawings, and delivering comprehensive technical and commercial support across pre-bid to turnover stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design.
• Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment processes and sanitary design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries to define technical and commercial scope for high-purity water solutions.
• Develop concept designs and perform preliminary engineering calculations for sizing and estimating.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered alternatives.
• Research equipment options based on technical suitability, availability, lead times and pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy with customer needs.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support alongside Sales.
• Deliver comprehensive technical and commercial turnover packages to project teams.
• Lead technical reviews and confirm supply scope with downstream teams.
