Job summary

Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance on product selection, system design, and application optimization for high-purity water solutions. You will bridge customer needs with Grundfos technology, supporting sales and turning designs into deliverable projects.

The role requires a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background, 5+ years in related engineering fields, and strong skills reading drawings. Remote work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design.
• Strong knowledge of high-purity water treatment, hydraulics, sanitary design, and water-quality requirements.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries to define technical and commercial scope of high-purity water solutions.
• Develop conceptual designs and prelim engineering calculations for sizing and estimation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered options.
• Research equipment options based on technical fit, lead times, and pricing.
• Explore innovative approaches to customer challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Partner with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy.
• Participate in customer meetings to provide technical support alongside Sales.
• Prepare and deliver technical and turnover packages to Project Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Lead technical review and turnover meetings to confirm project scope.
