Job summary

JLL is seeking a Vice President, Project Controls - Mission Critical, to lead a high-performing team delivering cost control, scheduling, and budget oversight for mission-critical capital projects valued up to $50M. You will guide cost estimators, schedulers, and cost managers, ensuring timely, accurate reports and strong client communication across a portfolio of complex data center initiatives.

The role requires advanced EVM knowledge, Primavera P6/Microsoft Project proficiency, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of cost managers, estimators, and schedulers; assign work, monitor progress, ensure quality.
• Provide technical guidance on cost estimating methodologies, scheduling techniques, and earned value management.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development for direct reports.
• Manage workload distribution and resource allocation across the project portfolio.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training with senior management.
• Prepare cost reports and variance analyses for assigned projects; escalate issues as needed.
• Oversee development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
