Job summary

Lytica Labs seeks a VP of Engineering to scale a senior team into a durable 25+ person org. You will partner with the CEO on strategy, with the head of product on roadmap, and with every IC on hiring, cadence, quality bars, and career ladders.

This is a remote role across US/EU with executive equity and a clear path to impact. As the first VP, you’ll shape engineering culture, drive hiring across multiple tracks, and align across product and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering with a track record of scale and impact.
• 4+ years leading and growing teams of 15+ ICs.
• Strong ability to set and defend technical judgement with rigor.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring strategy and execution across platform, applied-AI, and front-end tracks.
• Define operating cadence: planning, shipping, review, and learn cycles.
• Establish quality bars, SLOs, incident response, and production excellence.
• Lead career development and performance management for the engineering team.
