ButterflyMX is seeking a world-class Vice President of Data to lead a company-wide data transformation and establish data as a critical operating advantage. The role requires building a trusted, scalable data platform with Snowflake, dbt, and modern AI tools, reporting to the CTO and coordinating across major functions.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical credibility, strategic vision, and the ability to influence senior leadership while staying hands-on when needed.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute ButterflyMX’s enterprise data strategy.
• Prioritize transformation work based on commercial impact and decision value.
• Establish the governed data layer as the authoritative source of truth.
• Ensure leaders can understand performance and act on insights.
• Translate business questions into durable analytical systems.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Operations to drive value.
• Lead the data organization and establish governance across the company.
