Job summary

Intone Inc. is actively seeking a Vice President of AI Development for a fully remote role based in the United States.

You will lead the AI development strategy and oversee engineering teams to ship production code and integrate frontier-model APIs into production systems. The candidate will drive architectural decisions for AI-driven products, create technical documentation, and maintain robust decision records, ensuring secure and scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
• Production experience shipping code with TypeScript/Node and Python in real-world environments.
• Hands-on experience with frontier-model APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI.
• Proven expertise with Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Entrepreneurial background with demonstrated experience starting and shipping a product, company, or project to real users.
• Security-minded approach with understanding of adversarial threats to autonomous agent deployment systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English for creating technical documentation and decision records.
• Experience with agent frameworks, retrieval systems, and evaluation harnesses beyond tutorials.
