Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Vice President of General Liability Claims to lead a talented claims team as we scale to become the leading TPA. You will drive strategy, establish an effective structure, and enforce compliant policies and procedures while collaborating with Product and Engineering to identify technology and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 15 years of on-point technical experience managing teams of 75 or more employees.
• 20 years minimum in P&C claims.
• Experience building and iterating on process and technology in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge of all types of General Liability claims.
• Knowledge of Professional Lines claims a differentiator.
• Deep understanding of coverage and contracts with emphasis on risk transfer.
• Ability to synthesize data and drive results.
• Experience recruiting and developing claims professionals (remote preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction for the General Liability claims organization.
• Collaborate with Account Management to exceed client expectations and develop client relationships.
• Foster a customer-centric approach and drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Establish staffing aligned with organizational needs.
• Monitor claims data and KPIs to identify trends and improvements.
• Drive operational efficiencies through proprietary claims systems.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing claims team.
• Advise on high-exposure, complex litigation and coverage matters.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
