Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Vice President, Financial Crimes Independent Testing and Quality Assurance to lead the organization’s testing program across BSA/AML, Sanctions, Fraud, and related activities.

This hybrid role reports to senior leadership and oversees the QA team, driving governance, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of the control environment. The role requires strategic leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to provide credible challenge to executives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field.
10–15+ years of progressive Financial Crimes/Compliance experience.
Experience leading Financial Crimes QA/Independent Testing programs.

Responsibilities

Own and lead the enterprise Financial Crimes Independent Testing and QA Program.
Develop and maintain risk-based testing universe across 1LoD and 2LoD.
Oversee testing framework, standards, and QA scoring.
Provide executive reporting and escalate significant findings.
Lead thematic reviews and stakeholder engagement to strengthen controls.
