Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Vice President, Financial Crimes Independent Testing and Quality Assurance to lead and oversee the organization’s testing program across BSA/AML, Sanctions, Fraud, and related activities. The role ensures independent, risk-based testing across 1LoD and 2LoD, with governance, reporting, and continuous improvement under the 3 lines of defense framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting, or related field.
• Significant experience leading Financial Crimes QA, independent testing, compliance testing, audit, or assurance programs.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management, testing methodologies, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Financial Crimes Independent Testing and QA Program.
• Develop testing universe across 1LoD and 2LoD with risk-based planning.
• Oversee testing of processes: CDD/KYC, AML, Sanctions, Fraud, and related activities.
• Establish standardized methodologies, documentation, and QA scoring frameworks.
• Provide executive-level reporting on testing coverage, findings, and risk trends.
