Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a Vice President to lead the Financial Crimes Independent Testing and Quality Assurance Program. The role oversees 1LoD and 2LoD activities across BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Fraud, ensuring robust testing, governance, and ongoing risk-based coverage.

The VP will guide the QA team, partner with Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Internal Audit, and provide credible challenge to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting, or related field.
10-15+ years of progressive experience in Financial Crimes, BSA/AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Risk Management, Compliance, QA, Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, or related functions.
Significant experience leading Financial Crimes QA, independent testing, compliance testing, audit, or assurance programs.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, FCRM, internal control frameworks, testing methodologies, and governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the enterprise Financial Crimes Independent Testing and QA Program.
Establish governance framework, operating model, and standards for independent testing and QA.
Oversee the Financial Crimes QA Manager and team; ensure testing coverage and independent review.
Provide credible challenge to leadership and stakeholders regarding findings and controls.
Develop executive-level reporting on testing coverage, findings, and remediation status.
