Pathward, N.A. seeks a senior executive to lead its Financial Crimes Independent Testing and Quality Assurance program. The VP will shape strategy, governance, and execution across 1LoD and 2LoD, overseeing QA and testing for CDD/KYC, SAR, sanctions, and fraud controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in Financial Crimes, BSA/AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Risk Management, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, or related functions.
• Significant experience leading Financial Crimes QA, independent testing, compliance testing, audit, or assurance programs.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, FCRM, internal control frameworks, control design and operating effectiveness testing, QA and independent testing methodologies, three lines of defense frameworks, and governance, issue management, and remediation.
• Experience leading teams and managing complex testing or assurance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the enterprise Financial Crimes Independent Testing and QA Program across 1LoD and 2LoD.
• Develop and maintain risk-based testing plans and universes for Financial Crimes processes, risks, and activities.
• Oversee QA execution, governance, reporting, and remediation validation for significant findings.
• Establish standardized methodologies, scoring frameworks, sampling methodologies, and documentation requirements.
• Provide credible challenge to leadership and stakeholders; partner with Internal Audit and Model Risk Management.
