Job summary

STACK Infrastructure in Denver is seeking a Vice President of Electrical Engineering to lead the organization, set the technical direction for critical electrical infrastructure across multiple projects, and ensure designs meet reliability and safety standards.

You will oversee substations, medium- and low-voltage distribution, generators, UPS systems, and energy storage where applicable, balancing client requirements with company standards and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license required.
• 15+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering organizations and client-facing meetings.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage distribution, substations, generators, UPS.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executives and clients.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle from development to operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Engineering organization with clear accountability and priority setting.
• Provide technical direction across project portfolio and review major design decisions.
• Lead client meetings, design reviews, and executive-level engineering discussions.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards, criteria, and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Technology, Controls, Construction, Operations, and Procurement.
